Festival Green are dedicated to recycling and materials salvage at music festivals, country fayres and similar events. We provide the site infrastructure and staff for the reclamation of recyclable and re-usable material resources arising from such events. Festival Green has the capacity to manage the recycling and post-festival salvage at the largest festivals in the UK. We do this by recruiting and organizing a volunteer crew of 'Green Messengers' to ensure that recyclable resources are segregated at the point of disposal, and to engage with festival goers to adopt the environmental initiatives occurring at an event.
We are Committed to Environmental and Social Improvement!
We promote Zero Waste Business and Zero Waste Community Principles. We take a Zero Waste approach to resource management at events. This means we will work with you to prevent waste, to maximise the re-use and recycling of discarded materials, and to compost organics. This approach will reduce the carbon footprint of your event. Find out more on our Zero Waste page.
We work with disadvantaged people and individuals in need, we work with local community groups to provide food and goods left over at events. We also work with organisations in developing countries working towards local self reliance. In particular we have a partnership with the Philippine Community Fund.
